The Account Manager is responsible for two main roles: driving revenue growth by developing key business relationships and retaining current customers while driving engagement and revenue.

The role requires a strong focus on new business development in addition to, up-selling to existing clients, increasing customer engagement, and securing contract renewals. This will be achieved through sound account planning, prospecting to identify high-quality clients, qualifying and developing assigned accounts, understanding the client business environment, educating clients on Boon’s product offerings, and identifying ways the company can assist clients in solving its application development testing challenges.

Responsibilities:
Inside Sales
- Maintain high levels of prospecting activity and the ability to quickly establish credibility and trusted relationships with prospects.
- Develop and lead compelling, high-impact online software demos; maintain, update and improve the software demonstration environment and related tools.
- Actively drive the solution and technology evaluation stages of the sales process with prospects of various levels (basic understanding of APIs, SSO, domains, etc).
- Become a product expert and respond to RFPs detailing our platform's various capabilities.
- Help organizations improve their workforce engagement strategies.
- Bring your thinking, strategies and ideas to advance our company's values, culture and vision for the future.
- Work in partnership with leadership and Marketing Services team members to support day-to-day needs for existing customers.
- Close new opportunities through prospecting, presenting and nurturing relationships.
- Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with customer decision-makers to increase adoption, create new opportunities and secure their advocacy on Boon’s behalf.
- Assist clients in developing the value propositions for proposed solutions, when necessary.
- People Development: Contributes to the growth and positive experience of the sales team.
Customer Success
- Ensure smooth transition and on-boarding experience.
- Act as advisor to customers to ensure they’re leveraging the solution effectively.
- Build/maintain effective communication channels to customers in case of online service-related issues and events.
- Monitor and identify usage trends to uncover risks and support greater adoption rates.
- Track customer success KPI’s and provide internal feedback for process, efficiency and quality improvements.
- Familiarize quickly with our core product to expertly speak to functionality and goals to customers and prospects.
Your Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. degree, extra points for those who studied business.
- Sales experience operating within a quota, preferred
- Proven track record of successful customer engagements across a spectrum of verticals.
- Previous experience with SaaS, startup, and/or the recruitment space is highly desired but not required.
- Works extremely well in a fast-paced environment! Highly proactive and organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven - can understand data, draw conclusions, and think strategically about creating KPIs.
- Experience using and managing a CRM, strong technical skills with a variety of tools.
- Initiative to find or create the resources and lead generation efforts needed to be successful in this role.
- A strong foundation for strategic and tactical selling of a solution sale.
- Motivated to advance growth in an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing company environment.
- Technically literate and comfortable working with Internet technologies, and desire to build technical knowledge.
- Knowledge/background of email, digital & direct marketing.
- Ability to understand overall business objectives and make accurate, thoughtful decisions.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
