Overview
BOOST is hiring! We're looking for a full-time GSA Schedule Consultant to join our internal team that provides strategic and tactical full contract life cycle management support to our Government contracts (GovCon) industry clients. In this position you will report to the Director of Contracts. This position will be 100% remote, as BOOST is a virtual company. BOOST is headquartered in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
- Serves as primary point of contact with BOOST GSA clients and is responsible for maintaining those relationships
- Advise, assist and prepare necessary files for Clients seeking to obtain a new GSA schedule
- Administers contracts to include preparation and negotiation of contract awards and modifications (e.g., adding SINs, price increases, etc.) to the GSA Schedule
- Timely and compliant submission of reporting requirements (e.g., Industrial Funding Fee (IFF), sales reporting, Service Contract Reporting, etc.)
- Develop recommendations for process changes and enhancements to improve efficiency
- Responsible for ensuring contracts/schedules are in compliance with firm policies and procedures, as well as General Services Administration Acquisition Regulations (GSARs)
- Monitor and evaluate changing federal contract requirements and industry trends and make recommendations/ modifications to policies/procedures as needed
- Identify contractual risks and issues, provide solutions and recommend actions
- Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for engagements
- Assists GSA clients with proposals submissions where needed.
- Provides contractual guidance to business team members to review, draft, or interpret appropriate Statement of Work(s) or Performance Work Statement(s)
- Notify business team members and client of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to the company
- Manages and integrates daily work activities to ensure efficient compliance with corporate, contract, and federal requirements
- Manages the process for updating contract information in the contracts database ensuring all data is current and complete
- Supports or Performs other duties as assigned.
- Attends training both for internal compliance requirements and specialized courses that provide enhanced job-related skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with GSA Schedules and negotiations
- Excellent use of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- In-depth knowledge and experience with GSA schedules and associated systems including SIP and eOffer/eMod
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARs, SBA, and other supplemental regulations
- Strong communications, detail-oriented, with analytical skills.
- Good presentation, communication and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong experience working with spreadsheets
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple client demands
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills
