Overview
BOOST is helping one of our successful clients hire a Senior Recruiter to join their amazing organization. This role is completely remote but you will be required to come to the office (Falls Church, VA) 4 to 6 times a year with travel expenses paid by the company if you are not from the area. Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process, to include updates and maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System, candidate review, interview scheduling and coordination.
- Proactive sourcing and maintenance of a warm pipeline of candidates skilled in the services our client delivers
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the current and future needs of the company, focusing on inclusivity and the expansion of sourcing options to support workforce diversification.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other stakeholders to identify the hiring criteria, assist with the creation of external position descriptions, and provide regular status updates.
- Capture and analyze recruiting metrics, and provide recommendations for process improvement, based on industry best practices and trends.
- Act as a brand ambassador that includes designing and providing content for the company's website and social media accounts.
- Identify and engage with alternative sources for finding candidates to support the company in diversifying its workforce
- Act as the liaison with recruiting partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date recruiting processes and ensure any changes are communicated to all affected parties
Required Skills and Traits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (i.e., management, human resources, business administration, communications, hospitality, etc.)
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience working autonomously in a full cycle recruiting role (or additional years of experience, in lieu of degree).
- Maintain high level of professionalism, quality, and competence in internal communications.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, self-starter attitude, self-awareness and integrity.
- Prior experience recruiting in a government contracting environment is required.
- Solid knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws as they relate to recruitment.
- Skilled at active listening, creative problem solving, and managing ambiguity.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills with proven ability to create clear, concise and tactful messages.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadline and keep commitments.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Understand personal accountability and authenticity in approaching interactions with colleagues and candidates.
- Proficiency in software and tools specific to the employee’s level and area of expertise (e.g., HRIS, excel, calendar management, survey design).
