Test Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with engineers to Test and Evaluate CDM Dashboard deployments in the Booz Allen Lab and at the Federal Agencies. You'll build a test plan with test cases based on CDM requirements or relevant derivations. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the CDM Dashboard Data Integration performs, then document the results, log defects, and help with communicating testing results to both internal Booz Allen and external CISA stakeholders. This is an opportunity that is rooted in manual functional testing with a focus to mature into an automated testing role.
You Have:
- 5 years of experience with functional and integration tool testing
- 5 years of experience with developing requirements, test plans, and test cases, and creating automated test scripts
- 5 years of experience working on government contracts or similar engagements
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues and escalate as needed.
- Ability to write and maintain technical documents
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with CDM preferred
- Experience in working with enterprise Cyber defense tools, including Splunk, Elasticsearch or Kibana, BigFix, Tenable Security Center, CyberArk, and Forescout
- Experience in working with AWS Services and Deployments and Sand Services
- Experience with DHS CDM Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) preferred
- Experience in working with JIRA and ServiceNow
- Experience in working with Federal Agency environments, including VA, USDA, and DOE
- Experience in working within an Agile environment
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent technical writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) Security or Engineering
- CISSP, Security , CEH Certifications preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
