Cyber Data Scientist, Lead
Key Role:
Architect, develop, and operationalize software solutions and systems that perform cyber data analytics at scale in a variety of technology platforms. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with data science, data analytics, or research analytics
- 5 years of experience with cyber incident analysis and research
- Experience with database design and centralized and federated data models
- Experience with data analytics presentation platforms and how they interrelate to produce a working research capability
- Experience writing and verbalizing complex modeling processes and outcomes, including correlations, level of confidence, applicability, model factors, and meaning
- Knowledge of predictive models, data anomaly analysis, and correlations
- Ability to perform hypothesis testing to validate model performance
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience using statistical metrics to generate quantified performance reports for effectiveness and efficiency
- Experience with statistical analysis tools to determine variability of predictions in multiple dimensions and sensitivity and specificity of models
- Experience with data analytics tools and technologies, including Talend, Databricks, Python, and Tableau
- Experience leading teams of data scientists and analysts
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
