Key Role:
Provide mechanical engineering support for the development, operation, maintenance, and testing of complex technology systems for DoD weapon systems. Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate complicated and difficult mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval. Maintain responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development of new or improved product or processes. Investigates solutions to product or process problems. Consolidate results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects. Provide critical test support and develops reports on findings and recommendations.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Experience with engineering software tools, including Pro Engineer or CREO CAD or tools sets, such as SolidWorks, C , MATLAB and ANSYS
Experience in performing engineering analysis on systems and components
Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to fabricate and assemble system and subsystem components, using various machines or tools
Ability to work in a complex team environment
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Secret clearance
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
