Key Role:
Work with a highly skilled team focused on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for government clients with the primary focus to integrate information security and risk management into the system development life cycles. Perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security cyber defense tools and technologies, apply in–depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective countermeasures. Apply thought leadership in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment to solve complex security challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience with IT and Security Compliance in a professional work environment
5 years of experience with Information and Software Assurance and systems integrations
5 years of experience with automated deployment and the MISO DevOps program
5 years of experience designing, conducting, evaluating, and reporting of Security Test and Evaluation or Controls Assessment
5 years of experience with technical writing, including writing test plans, processes, and procedures
2 years of experience with designing, implementing, configuring, and operating GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tool Archer
1 year of experience with performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including performing installation and configuration, monitoring system performance and availability, performing upgrades, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the CDC Secure Access Management Services (SAMS) system
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with implementing and managing solutions utilizing Windows IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, integrations with Splunk enterprise, McAfee, Tenable, Service Now, Python, Client Certificate Authentication, and Single Sign-On providers, including ADFS
Knowledge of Archer GRC front-office and back-office object modeling
Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or Engineering
CISSP or Security certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
