You will serve as a nuclear threat subject matter expert supporting all-source intelligence analysts. You’ll develop, execute, and author intelligence products focused on nuclear threats and counter-proliferation topics using advanced all-source analytic capabilities. You will maintain responsibility for developing new and innovative analytic methodologies designed to characterize immediate nuclear threats and over-the-horizon threats through structured research, employing multiple mediums and tool suites. You’ll increase the client's understanding of nuclear threats to the Warfighter, and support DoD plans and operations providing actionable intelligence. You will develop leads elucidating the nexus between nuclear devices and threats and contribute to ongoing and future planning activities. You’ll provide the opportunity to support real-world missions in a dynamic client environment.

As a nuclear subject matter expert on our team, you’ll explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to help your client understand their operational landscape. You’ll serve as a nuclear threat subject matter expert supporting all-source intelligence analysts. You’ll learn how to validate information and apply client tradecraft as you help to build assessments for senior policymakers. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence analysis, and share your skills with other analysts. You Have:

  • 7 years of experience with intelligence analysis
  • 7 years of experience with employing multi-INT databases to draft analytic assessments and briefings
  • Experience with using science, technology, and academic databases
  • Knowledge of state nuclear programs, trends, and technologies
  • Knowledge of the technical requirements necessary to develop nuclear or radiological devices
  • Knowledge of arms-control treaties, nuclear security, and nonproliferation efforts associated with related technologies
  • Ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering or Physics preferred; Doctorate degree in Nuclear Engineering or Physics a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
