UI and UX Graphic Designer

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with UX/UI and Design Interaction experience to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and visually appealing interfaces while incorporating the latest technology, design, and human factors principles. You'll play a crucial role in aligning inputs from cross-functional teams and stake holders, including other UI Designers and Human Factors Engineers, and you will be closely collaborating with developers to implement designs while adhering to technical requirements and constraints. You will deliver products that captivate our users and contribute to the success of our defense missions globally.

As a Graphic Designer on our team, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for a highly motivated creative like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. You will have a chance tocreate prototypes and wireframes to visualize and communicate design ideas effectively. You will be key in obtaining user feedback and performing customer analysis to understand user behaviors, needs and problem sets.

You Have:

-Experience in UX/UI design including creating prototypes, developing user guides, and storylines

-Experience in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite/XD, Figma, or Sketch

-Experience with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design

-Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions

-Experience in creating and maintaining design systems for scalability and consistency

-Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and principles

-Ability to lead and mentor junior designers and collaborate with developers

-Secret Clearance

-Bachelor's Degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with the DoD

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

-TS/SCI clearance

-Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
