Key Role:
Designs, implements, and maintains strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs in support of corporate strategy. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
3 years of experience managing a technical program, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and delivery of IT projects
Experience managing budgets and spend plans
Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile engineering and DevOps, and associated tools including ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence
Ability to direct project scope, risk, schedule, cost considerations, and performance
Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and help lead a team
Ability to communicate technical and policy concerns to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leading Technical Exchange Meetings and Integrated Product Team meetings with senior level organizations
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with Information Technology project management or Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience with Information Technology project management
Ability to obtain CompTIA Security Certification to meet DoD 8140 compliance within 60 days of start date
Additional Qualifications:
Experience managing software development teams
Experience with DoD Program Management and Acquisition Management for ACAT programs throughout the acquisition life cycle
Experience with Navy systems and networks
Knowledge of vendor management and Service Level Agreements
Ability to manage Agile development to support government requirements
Top Secret clearance
Master’s degree
Certified Scrum Master
SAFe Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
