What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mate DPO position at Bordelon Marine, LLC?
Serves as Officer of a Navigational Watch aboard multi-service, DP2, SOLAS vessels. Reports to Master and/or designated officer. Supervises designated personnel within the deck department. Responsible for upholding Master’s Standing Orders and the safe, secure, and environmentally sound execution of all vessel operations – including third party activities. Maintains adherence to Master’s ultimate authority. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, classification society rules and international conventions. Obeys and routinely reviews Company policies and procedures; recommends amendments as needed. Safely navigates and maintains the vessel. Other duties include; service delivery, bridge management, human resource management, cost management, and reporting of incidents.

Pay: $625.00 - $675.00 per day
