The Human Resources Coordinator is a key role in the North American Human Resources Team and for the growth of Borealis in North America. The role holder shall support the Human Resources Teams’ preparation for growth throughout the NAM region and overall assistance to other managers, as assigned. This position will act as back-up for the Talent Manager and HR Generalist during absence

Area of responsibility
  • Employee records
o Establishes and maintains complete employee records both electronic (SAP & BeyondPay) and hard copy
o Keeps HR bulletin boards and Mandatory Postings current
o Gathers, collects, records, tracks, verifies data and information from multiple sources, as requested
o Perform document scanning
o Maintains and updates a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and/or hard copy reports and records.
  • People
o HR liaison for department communications
o Creates and follows up on New Employee Orientation (On Boarding) sessions
o Point person for employee general HR related questions and BeyondPay specific questions
o Establish and maintain good communication with all internal groups
o Recruit for roles less than grade 7
  • Others
o Assists HR Manager as requested
o Other assigned tasks and responsibilities

About you

Requirements:

4 years of previous human resources experience within a manufacturing organization
  • Ability to work independently and within groups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
Required Knowledge:
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in SAP Personnel Administration
  • General knowledge of all aspects of HR including recruitment, benefits, FMLA, ADA, EEO, FMLA, Disability, Workers’ Compensation and various labor laws
  • Awareness of company policies, guidelines and HR procedures
