BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Sr. Analog IC Design Engineer at our Indiana Technical Center (ITC) with locations in Noblesville & Kokomo, Indiana. In this role, the Sr. Analog IC Design Engineer will be a member of a product development team to design the next-generation mixed-signal automotive ASICs for Powertrain and Power Electronics (Electrification) products. Job Duties: Help define block-level specifications Develop Functional/Behavioral models Schematic capture and simulation Develop efficient circuit designs meeting functional and yield requirements Work with layout designer to implement layout of circuit blocks Preparation and presentation of detailed circuit design reviews Evaluation of samples in laboratory Documentation Investigation of new circuit design architectures Requirements: BS Electrical Engineering Required 8 years industry experience required (5 years with MSEE degree) Ability to perform transistor level, analog and mixed signal integrated circuit design in CMOS or BiCMOS technologies Knowledge of microelectronic fundamentals & Semiconductor electronics Familiarity in laboratory evaluation of analog sub-blocks as part of proto-type evaluation activities Familiarity with the following tools: Cadence analog and mixed-signal design tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, etc) Analog circuit simulators (Spice, Spectre, Eldo, Customsim, etc) Linux and Windows OS Behavioral modeling languages (VerilogA, VerilogAMS, etc) Basic understanding of statistics Able to work with team members across multiple design locations and possess the ability to work closely with management team to meet or exceed design schedules BorgWarner Competencies: Drive for Results Decision Quality Interpersonal Savvy Problem Solving Conflict Management Safety This position will adhere to the Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual.
