Join us to become part of the exciting and growing field of Driver Assistance.Job DescriptionWithin Parking Systems, this role is responsible for designing, developing and testing software (S/W):
- Conduct Requirements Analysis and highlight deviations and risks for new business quotes.
- Participate in quote preparation and Customer reviews.
- Participate/support Customer demonstrations.
- Create/maintain requirements in DOORS.
- Link requirements to System, SW, Test specification and S/W change items.
- Architect and design core S/W modules and conduct/participate in Design reviews.
- Provide effort estimates for work packages and improve accuracy in estimates.
- Implement/develop code and state machines per S/W Requirements and track effort.
- Integrate S/W modules and build S/W for release.
- Generate/review Release notes.
- Conduct/participate in code reviews, as needed.
- Support Application and calibration development.
- Check-in work into the defined Configuration Management system regularly.
- Create baseline for all major releases.
- Devise comprehensive bench level test plan and link test cases with S/W requirements.
- Setup a test bench and define new Simulation requirements, if needed.
- Execute test plan and produce report shared w/ customer. Support System validation effort.
- Follow change management process and provide input re: impact on schedule and costs.
- Issue/support release notes for all relevant baselines.
- Write S/W design, S/W requirement and Quality Assurance plan.
- Provide updates to upper Management and Program Managers. Participate and present in project review meetings.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of embedded software experience.
- 1 years of experience in embedded C/C .
- 2 years of experience in Software Development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of embedded software experience.
- Requirements analysis, managing requirements and design, development and testing.
- Experience in developing code and designing state machines following V-model for SW development.
- Experience in C/C language.
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink or similar modeling tools.
- Embedded control system design.
- Experience in designing using Enterprise Architect.
- Experience in creating System and Software Requirements in Doors.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies
