We are looking for a hands-on engineer who is interested in applying ML and DSP experience in a development environment. This environment presents unique learning opportunities to explore applying ML to challenging problems related to noise reduction, immersive audio and hearing enhancement. Skills: Strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams Hands-on experience porting neural network algorithms from intermediate representations such as TFLite, TFLite Micro, ONNX, etc. onto embedded targets using device-specific compilation tools and/or inference API’s. Deep understanding of on-device quantization techniques including post-training quantization, training-aware quantization, mixed precision inference. Conceptual understanding of how neural network operators map to embedded hardware accelerators such as DSP’s and NPU’s. Familiarity with Deep Learning Audio Signal Processing approaches for tasks including Speech enhancement / noise suppression / voice pickup Audio understanding / scene classification Hearing assistance Experience integrating DSP and AI-powered algorithms into audio block processing pipelines. Comfortable coding in modern C , Python, MATLAB Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with ML training frameworks such as Tensorflow and/or Pytorch a plus. Experience with the audio processing stack on MATLAB and/or Python a plus. Experience: Leading projects or teams of engineers in deploying innovative solutions to challenging audio problems by porting neural network algorithms to edge or embedded devices. Defining project scope, timelines, deliverables and ensuring successful execution of projects. Experience collaborating with cross functional teams across research and development organizations. Mentoring junior team members Education: BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Signal Processing related degree.
