What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook (BTAP - PT Reg) position at Boston Beer Corporation?
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Cook at the Boston Taproom.
What You'll Brew:
- Ensure consistency of taste, quality, and presentation with every order
- Ensure orders are moving in an efficient and timely manner
- Organize the workstation for service
- Provide ideas to leadership to improve practices, menu, and process
- Keep proper food rotation, storage, labeling, and food preparation to minimize waste
- Maintain a safe and sanitized kitchen
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year of culinary experience
- Effective communicator
- Strong working knowledge of safety and sanitation practices and techniques
- Work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Available to work weekends, holidays and help cover shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working at a fast past restaurant
- Culinary degree
