What are the responsibilities and job description for the Next Gen ERP Co-op position at Boston Consulting Group?

As a NextGen ERP Co-op, you will accelerate the growth of the Next Gen ERP offer by supporting high-level strategic and operational initiatives that include:

Technical support to optimize existing ERP tools (e.g., Cost estimator tool, KPI benchmarking tool etc.)
Support with marketing, trainings and content development (e.g., playbooks) related to the Next Gen ERP topic
Support case and proposal work as needed

We use the Data & Digital Platform (DDP) thinking to design ERP implementations and migrations that:

Secure incremental transition leveraging DDP
Unlock clients' data - which typically sits within the core - for the realization of digital use cases

We de-risk and accelerate this program combining the best of agile methodology and rigorous governance. We help our clients navigate the complexity of the ecosystem by offering independent advice. We enable our clients, helping them build the capability to own their core and create sustainable performance.

Must be currently enrolled in Northeastern University and eligible to participate in the July to December 2024 co-op cycle
First-hand knowledge and/or experience in one or several of these topics: Business Strategy and Transformations, Operations Management, Database Design, Enterprise Platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, etc.)
Expertise with one or more core business processes (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, etc.)
Strong knowledge in data analytics and visualization solutions (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Management, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
