Title: IT Project Manager
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Waltham, MA
Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Job Description:
Day to day activities
- Manage multiple competing cross-functional IT projects/programs simultaneously.
- Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, budgets, resource plans, risk identification and mitigation plans as well as monthly reports and overall KPIs for Technical Programs.
- Gather and analyze requirements, set priorities, define project schedules, manage project resources (both internal and external) and facilitate sprint planning (where applicable).
- Ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards in deployed solutions and track exceptions for follow up.
- Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability, both inside and outside of the IT department.
Desired skills
- 5 years of IT experience, with a focus on Business Process Management and Project/Program Management in a corporate IT environment.
- Successfully led the delivery of multiple complex IT solutions into production, including hardware and software projects.
- Experience with IT Business Continuity Plan and/or Disaster Recovery Plan creation and annual test execution.
- Experience with managing SOC 2 Type 2 audits is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Six Sigma or PMI/PMP Certification is a plus.
