About this role:

The Business Consultant partners with the in fostering a culture of continuous improvement while driving results to achieve Boston Scientific’s strategic operating income goals. This role also provides coaching on Boston Scientific’s continuous improvement roadmap, tools, and development opportunities while continuing to improve the methodology and best practice sharing throughout the enterprise.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with leadership teams and their organizations to foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating and deploying a continuous improvement strategy.
• Leading the annual programmatic execution/governance of the continuous improvement strategy, including establishing annual goal(s), identifying opportunities, communicating progress, and recognizing success.
• Leading or engaging in key global initiatives driving continuous improvement.
• Working cross-culturally and influencing diverse teams in the development and adoption of global best practices.
• Leveraging continuous improvement methodologies (including DMAIC, Lean, Innovation, and Design Thinking) and technology options (including Intelligent Automation and Process Mining) to collaboratively solve problems and remove roadblocks.
• Facilitating kaizen events and other workshops to target key improvement opportunities and provide instant offense when necessary to drive strategic business priorities. This work may include:

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience
• MBA preferred
• 5 years of Continuous Improvement and/or Management Consulting experience
• Strong business financial acumen
• Proven results driving improvement in enterprise-wide and transactional business environments
• Demonstrated coaching, program management, and change management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial/consultant mindset
• Ability to build enthusiasm for change
