In this role, you’ll utilize your data analysis, critical thinking and communication skills to champion and foster global business partnerships rooted in integrity.
Your responsibilities will include:
⦁ Support the global implementation and on-going maintenance of a comprehensive risk-based Third Party Program and business management system aimed at mitigating compliance risk associated with Boston Scientific’s global network of third parties (e.g., distributors, dealers, agents, vendors, etc.).
⦁ Steward the Third Party Program, providing subject-matter expertise, education and training to business partners on third party risk and the importance of key Third Party Program initiatives.
⦁ Provide Program support and liaise with other Program support functions (i.e. Global Security, Legal and Compliance specialists) to address pertinent matters relative to their role such as red flags that arise as part of third party due diligence.
⦁ Plan, lead and/or successfully execute programmatic enhancements to the Third Party Program.
⦁ Define project goals, meet schedules, resolve issues, develop performance goals and act as an advisor on BSC’s comprehensive third party compliance program
⦁ Review, categorize and document third party red flag escalations and resolution committee outcomes for inherently higher-risk third parties.
⦁ Support Global Compliance Investigations with compiling and summarizing third party data relevant to the review of related matters.
⦁ Build and foster trusting relationships with regional program stakeholders through consistent and effective communication and problem solving.
⦁ Provide reporting and analytic support to project leadership and stakeholders to measure Program compliance and inform enhancements to programmatic elements.
⦁ Assess existing as well as inform and/or develop new tools and processes related to key controls and business risks using internal and external benchmarking.
⦁ Maintain a high degree of interest in professional development. Attend relevant compliance training sessions and conferences and maintain ongoing professional credentials (e.g. CPA, CCEP, etc.).
Required Qualifications
⦁ 5-7 plus years of experience in compliance field, preferably in healthcare
⦁ Strong analytical, critical thinking and excel skills as well as demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
⦁ Strong knowledge of lean business processes and prior experience in implementing continuous improvement processes.
⦁ Exceptional project management skills, including ability to develop strategy and approach for global efforts as well as the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
⦁ Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to construct organized, well written documents that provide the appropriate level of detail and information to meet the target audience’s needs
⦁ Confidence to handle pressures and deadlines.
⦁ Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed expectations.
⦁ Ability to work with large amounts of data to analyze information while still seeing the “big picture”.
⦁ Ability to take an abstract task and translate it into action, including stakeholder identification, scoping of resources, project plan, risk analyses, etc.
⦁ Results oriented with a willingness to get the job done
