Sales Operations Data Analyst, Cardiac Rhythm Management & Diagnostics


The Sales Operations Data Analyst will procure, manage and ensure quality of data to drive and enable analytics and reporting for the Boston Scientific Cardiac Rhythm Management & Diagnostics sales team. We are seeking a highly motivated, high impact individual with strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools and analyses to enable the sales team to be focused and productive. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations and IT departments to solve problems, develop solutions and shape business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analytics and Execution

  • Collaborate and partner directly with sales management to understand business needs
  • Identify and synthesize information needed to provide meaningful analyses
  • Design, construct and produce reports and other sales performance tools
  • Identify and support implementation of best practices to improve commercial operations execution, quality, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provide ad hoc project support for various initiatives within the sales and sales operations organizations to drive sales or efficiencies
  • Work with IT to enhance and troubleshoot systems, data and processes affecting the sales organization

Leadership

  • Communicate effectively with business partners and the sales team
  • Represent sales analytics in cross-functional project teams
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively and comfortably participate in meetings with managers, directors and VPs

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of sales, sales support, marketing or related work experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data to analyze information and identify trends
  • Well-organized, independent and ready to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs, including Excel and Access
  • Understanding of and experience with data management and database design
  • Proficiency with VBA and SQL strongly preferred
