The SAP Operations Analyst III will participate in, and at times lead, operational support and service management activities related to Boston University's Information Services & Technology (IS&T) Finance, Human Resources and Procurement systems; primarily enabled with SAP technologies. The SAP Operations Analyst III will be an individual contributor that will work in a matrixed environment with various IS&T and client teams to ensure successful operations of the SAP landscape.

 

Typical activities will include:

  • Leading cyclical operational projects and upgrades
  • Leading operational improvement initiatives through configuration and development enhancements
  • Monitoring and working support tickets, release, and change management activities
  • Creating and updating operational documentation
  • Communicating status and issues to management.

 

The SAP Operations Analyst III will have experience in project management, DevOps best practices, the ITIL framework and service monitoring. In addition, the SAP Operations Analyst III will possess and demonstrate competency in SAP disciplines such as, but not limited to, SAP ERP, Business Suite on HANA, BASIS, ABAP and/or SAPUI5 development, Fiori, Business Technology Platform, and SAP Cloud products.
