Our client, in Baltimore MD, is seeking an office assistant
Responsibilities
- The Office Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our daily office operations
- Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Greeting and directing visitors and clients as they enter the office
- Maintaining and organizing filing systems, both paper and electronic
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments and meetings
- Performing general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Assisting other departments with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Experience working in a medical office setting is a plus
- Ability to transcribe and type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with event planning processes is preferred
- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.20 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
