Summary/Objective
The retail general manager directs and coordinates activities of one or more restaurants and aids the chief operations officer in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
Qualifications:
1. Must speak Fluent English.
2. Must have a valid Driver’s License and a mode of transportation.
3. Must be 21 years of age or older.
4. Must have at least 1 (one) year of experience in the Food and Beverage or Hospitality industry.
5. Must have a High School Diploma.
6. Must be available to work at least 20 hours a week.
7. Cannot have a Felony or Misdemeanor on record.
8. Must have two valid forms of identification that qualifies employee to work in the United States.
9. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Essential Functions

· Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all divisional department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
· Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
· Confers with the chief operations officer and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
· Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and new product development.
· Oversees restaurants and departments to review production and operating reports and resolve operational and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth.
· Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
· Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role manages and directs staff management. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the restaurant areas that require safety measures. For the most part the employee will be exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional restaurant equipment as found in a typical environment.

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time positon. This position regularly requires long hours, weekend work and holidays.
Travel
Occasional local travel is expected with this position.
Required Education and Experience
· Master’s degree or equivalent; or four to 10 years’ related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
· Prior restaurant management experience, preferably in a growing environment.
