Essential Duties:
Performs general construction, maintenance, and facility repair activities in all phases of construction projects at all Bottom Line Equipment locations

Utilizes hand and power tools for construction/maintenance projects.
Safely operates various types of construction type heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, skid steers) to excavate, move, and grade earth, concrete, asphalt, or other hard surface pavement on roadbeds and dirt/earth surfaces in a safe manner
Reads, understands, and follows construction grade plans
Performs daily lubrication and fueling of equipment and minor preventative maintenance
Responsible for rigging, debris cleanup, equipment inspection for damage and equipment cleaning that includes digging out/clearing equipment tracks
Assists in demolition and preparation of areas to be resurfaced, applying, raking, compacting, and paving appropriate materials to the surface, and cleaning up area
Maintains accurate logs and records of work performed and materials and equipment used.
Must be willing to travel to all company locations in Texas and Louisiana to complete projects
Ensures compliance and adherence to all safety policies and procedures

Performs other duties as requested that will include heavy lifting and manual labor
Education, Experience & Requirements:
3-5 years of experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Operate equipment to meet finish grade standards
Work with others to positively complete the task at hand
Recommend best grade practices; assistance, advice and sequence of operations plans
Ability to be self-motivated
Physical Requirements:
Must have good visual and auditory physical capabilities to manage sights and sounds in a hazardous construction environment
Alert and cognitive of multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including awareness of other employees, subcontractors, machinery, equipment, and moving traffic
Coordination between hand, eyes, feet to guide equipment and objects is required
Must be able to mount and dismount off of vehicles and equipment
