Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, and coordinating job placement. If you have a passion for the Trucking Industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Your Contribution to our Team's Success:
- Collaboration: Work closely with managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to attract Professional Truck Drivers and other Facility candidates.
- Sourcing: Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, trade schools, and referral programs to source qualified candidates.
- Screening: Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience criteria.
- Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and fit for the role.
- Coordination: Schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
- Background Checks: Conduct previous Employment Verifications and other background screenings for selected candidates.
- Candidate Experience: Manage candidate communication and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process up to placement in the field.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices to adjust recruitment strategies as needed.
- Additional Support: Assist with other recruitment-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver recruiter is preferred but not required.
- Recruitment Skills: Familiarity with recruitment strategies and techniques, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal managers.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Tenstreet and Monday.com is a plus.
