WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and contribute to software tools, automation, and full stack web applications from the ground up to manage a variety of public and private cloud infrastructure across hundreds of microservices across many in-house and Public Cloud platforms using the latest technologies.
- Build a deep understanding of the performance and scaling requirements of Box microservices, to forecast their growth requirements and manage their current utilization health.
- Build and operate analytical capabilities across multi-terabyte data sets
- Develop self-service tools and processes to enable service owners to understand and self-manage their capacity, efficiency, and costs
WHO YOU ARE
- 3 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python for tools development and ETL type applications
- Familiarity with backend application development frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in the CI/CD process
- Strong analytical and problem solving, communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge in statistical modeling and forecasting a plus
