What are the responsibilities and job description for the Return to Office Program Manager position at Box?
The Return to Office (ROO) Program Manager will lead our overall re-entry to Box offices worldwide, including health and safety policies and programs, that ensure Boxers remain safe when conducing any Box business-related activities. You will partner with People, Places, Legal, and IT teams to craft and implement Covid-19 related policies and process to ensure Box is compliance with country and local guidance. This role is highly visible in the organization - great collaboration and communication stills are important as this role reports out to executive management as well as large populations of Boxers. - Drive cross-functional team to plan, create and implement health and safety (H&S) protocols, practices, and procedures to return to work safely and manage our Covid response
- Create and maintain, with input from cross-functional team, policies and processes to help Box remain compliant with local and country Covid-19 guidance
- Define RASCIs and drive approvals for Covid-19 related policies and processes including, but not limited to: Work from Anywhere (WFA), Return to Office (ROO), Covid Prevention Program (CPP), travel, H&S, etc.
- Drive enablement for all H&S protocols and office re-entry, including training, FAQs, Covid Portal updates, and response communication
- Partners with in-house legal to evaluate and assess legal requirements and implications on global CPP and ROO practices
- Partner with Benefits to oversee and evolve accommodation processes as needed
- Drive the U.S. Covid tracing response, including negative testing; Respond and escalate to appropriate partners when a positive Covid case is determined within Box offices
- Oversees and 10x the office re-entry process, system, and tools
- Establish project governance processes that enable timely decision making and issue escalation and resolution
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to a broad array of business and IT stakeholders across the company

Bachelor's degree required and 5 years of program or project management experience, preferably for cross-functional teams and in the tech space

Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with a history of investigating, scoping, establishing a framework, and executing new business processes

Demonstrates a strong ability to communicate concepts clearly, accurately, and succinctly to a wide range of audiences, both orally and in writing

You have the ability to effectively work through ambiguity and an eye for continuous improvement

Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment where collaborating across various teams is expected

Experience in compliance/policy related space preferred

Knowledge of Health & Safety related areas is a plus but not required
