WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partner Manager to join our Partner Sales Team as part of Box’s Go-To Market Organization. As a champion for Box's market leadership, you will be instrumental in forging and nurturing strategic partnerships with an existing, and growing portfolio of Regional System Integrators (SIs) across various sectors in North America, focusing on creating impactful go-to-market strategies and driving significant revenue growth with key partners. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a key role in cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation within our ecosystem, resonating with Box's core values.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strategic Partner Management: Develop and implement comprehensive partner management and growth strategies. This involves identifying growth opportunities, with new and existing managed partners conducting strategic reviews, and optimizing partner performance.

    Sales Leadership and Business Development: Manage the entire sales cycle with partners, from pipeline development to deal closure. This includes detailed sales forecasting, driving joint sales initiatives, and surpassing revenue growth targets for you and our partners.

    Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as solutions engineering, Box Consulting, marketing, product, and customer success. You will ensure that partner activities align with Box’s strategic goals, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our ecosystem.

    Product and Industry Expertise: Act as a thought leader, providing insights to partners and Box teams. Stay ahead of market trends, contribute to product and solution development, and position Box as a leader in digital transformation solutions for industries and verticals with Box’s Partners

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven GTM and Partner Management Experience: At least 5 years of experience in partner sales or channel management, ideally in a SaaS environment. Your experience should include managing large-scale partnerships, successful solution selling, and a demonstrable track record of exceeding business goals personally and with your partners.

  • Fluent in Nearbound GTM Tactics: You are adept at implementing Nearbound GTM strategies, focusing on building trust and collaboration within the partner ecosystem. Your approach is centered around identifying overlapping accounts with partners, leveraging shared data, and utilizing the collective trust in your network. This proficiency will be key in driving more efficient and effective partner engagements, leading to accelerated deal closures and enhanced partner relationships.

  • SaaS Environment Expertise: A deep understanding of the SaaS industry, its challenges, and opportunities. Familiarity with the nuances of cloud content management and digital transformation

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, coupled with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in presentations and executive discussions.

  • Adaptability and High Energy: You thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, adapting to changing market conditions and innovations like Box AI

  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical knowledge, preferably with a good understanding of Box’s product suite and platform, enabling you to effectively align partner solutions with customer needs.
