ADVERTISING SPLST

• Directs the advertising agency in effective advertising media schedules with radio, television, newspaper, magazine, and outdoor vendors.
• Works with Boyd Creative Studio to manage the development of all creative projects through effective allocation of resources, monitors work-flow within the property along with Marketing Manager & VP of Marketing on direct mail, and communicates with internal requesting departments to ensure fulfillment of media and production deadlines in a timely, quality and cost-effective manner.
  
• Supervise media allocation and production schedules in compliance with established marketing department guidelines, and ensures the achievement of property plan objectives.
  
• Works as the liaison with Boyd Creative Studios and outside agencies; monitors communication; ensures maintenance of, and adherence to, budgetary guidelines and timely and accurate delivery of advertising materials.
• Conducts meetings with internal departments (special events, F&B, Hotel and Entertainment ) to recommend appropriate and cost-effective advertising programs consistent with the overall goals and priorities of the property strategic plan.
  
• Maintains ownership of on-going programs: Ie; Coolsign - monitor and update; Website - update and maintain all on property signage and guest communication.
  
• Manages on-property photo and still shoots with outside agencies and photographers.
  
• Creates back of house signage, digital media for coolsigns and website through graphic design skills
• Directs Purchasing Department to ensure that user departments’ deadlines are achieved.

• Advertising Specialist will also assist in working at weekly promotions such as gift giveaways, drawings, etc.

• Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, vendors, customers and all levels of employees.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Intermediate level of proficiency all MS Office applications, coolsign software, website update software.
• Graphic design experience and training with Adobe and design software is preferred.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas of the property, including casino floor.
• Knowledge of strategic marketing, planning, and organizational and project tracking.
• Knowledge of advertising planning, development and creative concepts required.
