Responsibilities
The Host's typical job functions include:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Answering phones, taking food orders and answering guests questions
- Using point of sale system to complete transactions, balancing cash drawers and preparing deposits
- Bussing tables, assisting servers with table maintenance and stocking of the restaurant
- Assisting cooks, servers and bartenders with various tasks as needed
- Using iPad seating chart system
- Delivering room service and spa orders
Qualifications
This position may be for you if:
- You are 18 years old
- You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- You are available to work days, evenings, weekend and holidays
- You possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people
- You are able to stand for long periods of time
