What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Busser position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
We are looking for new Event Busser’s to join The Highlands at Harbor Springs team. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, assisting the Event Servers as needed. Schedules are flexible, allowing you and your manager to find a schedule that fits your lifestyle and giving you the time you need to enjoy the perks that come from working at the Highlands.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to):• Create a positive impression for our guests by welcoming them with a smile and eye contact. Engage the guest in conversation and encourage them to return.• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all seating areas including all tables, chairs and floors.• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.• Refill water and coffee at the service stations throughout the shift.• Remove dirty dishes, silverware and any debris from tables between courses and after the customer has left.• Janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage, shoveling snow, etc.• Answer questions about the food and beverages being served during the event.• Communicates absences and schedule changes promptly. • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.• Additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc):• Must be detail-oriented, able to display positive attitude and be a team player.• You possess the ability to handle a variety of tasks or requests on time.• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.• Must be at least 16 years of age
