What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Arts Instructor position at Boys & Girls Club of Southeast, Alabama?
Hours: 2-3 afternoons per week/6-9 hours per week
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Promote and stimulate program participation. May be required to participate in special programs and/or events. Be able to teach choir and theater. Bonus if you have musical instrumental skills; guitar, drums, keyboarding, etc.
Skills/Knowledge REQUIRED:
- Experience in working with children.
- A music/theater/arts degree would be an asset but not required.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
- Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe environment.
- All applicants will be subject to background checks and drug/alcohol testing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Schedule:

Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
