What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano and Guitar Instructor - Independent Contractor Position position at Boys & Girls Clubs of Saline County?
We are looking for an energetic, dependable person to be an independent contractor on our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Saline County, located in Benton! Our ideal instructor will have a strong history, either in past work experience or existing work experience teaching piano and guitar lessons to school age children.
Do you have a desire to supplement your current job, hobby or existing business in music education? We have one classroom opening from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, two to three days per week. Do you love children and serving the needs of youth in Saline County? We are in need of a positive person to join our great team as a contractor and help our mission!
This position is GRANT FUNDED, PART-TIME for the school year, following the Benton Public Schools calendar. When school is out or closed during the school year, you are off too!!
Skills Required:
Ability to work in a very busy environment with lots and lots of children, ages 6 and up.
Be willing to organize a music concert and/or program at least once per semester.
Must be able to pass extensive background checks as well as fingerprint background check.
CPR Certification a plus, but will train the ideal candidate.
NOTE: This is a PART-TIME independent contractor position, during scheduled school days. This position is not considered and employee of the club, and it does not have benefits or paid days off.
Pay Schedule is $75-$120 per day, paid per month, depending on work experience or educational license.
