What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boys Town Youth Associate position at Boys Town?
Various Part-Time positions available for work after school and on weekends. This role is only for Youth attending the Boys Town Education Center.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Responsible for working on a variety of assigned administrative tasks.
- Connect with supervisor to learn the duties and function of the area assigned.
- Work alongside Boys Town employees to carry out basic functions to support the department needs.
- Meet regularly with supervisor and other team leads to "check back", and complete projects as assigned.
- Proactively demonstrate qualities of a positive and hardworking employee.
- Build experience and work knowledge for future career growth.
- Ability to sort documents or other relevant materials quickly and correctly, according to need, including chronologic, numeric, or alphabetical order.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
- Minimum 16 years of age required.
- Family Home Consultant approval required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in an office or file room setting is preferred.
