Position Overview:
As an Equipment Repair Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all MHE equipment, providing daily leadership and support to equipment repair associates with varying levels of responsibility and job functions. The Supervisor is responsible for clearly and thoroughly communicating job expectations, ensuring proper training is provided, and maintaining high levels of accountability and follow through.
Responsibilities:
Oversees and drives the day-to-day performance of your repair technicians through guidance, training, and mentorship with associates.
Developing and implementing maintenance schedules for equipment while balancing preventative and corrective repairs
Coordinating with Operations to plan maintenance activities with minimal impact to the overall operation.
Assigning repair tasks to technicians based on skill levels and workload.
Ensuring timely and efficient completion of equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
Assisting technicians with diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues with MHE
Working collaboratively to find the most effective and safest solution.
Maintaining accurate records of equipment repairs using programs such as CMMS which includes maintenance logs, equipment histories, parts used etc.
Managing and ordering parts necessary to keep repairs in process.
Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring all repairs meet regulatory standards.
Assisting with development and management of equipment repair budget
Monitoring expenditures and identifying cost savings opportunities
Performing a variety of mechanical repairs on MHE equipment as business needs require
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Experience:
Must have at least one (1) year of Distribution related experience
Supervisory experience of mid to large team sizes – 15 hourly associates
Preferred five (5) years’ experience MHE equipment repair.
Must have a complete set of hand tools – specialty tools will be provided.
Schedule:
Sunday - Wednesday
2:00pm - 12:15am
Environment:
Warehouse Perishable – approx. -20F - 40F
Warehouse Grocery - approx. 50F – 90F

Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 75lbs.; the ability to operate required facility equipment.
