SUMMARY:
BPM is looking for an experienced Alliance Marketing Manager to join its growing Marketing team. Working with the Advisory Services and Industry Marketing Account Managers, the Alliance Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to support our partnerships and alliances with other companies (primarily technology providers). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, experience in managing alliance partnerships, and be able to work cross-functionally with various internal and external teams.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have the confidence and ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Practice Group Leaders, marketing reps from alliance companies, and marketing team members.
Responsibilities- Work will include, but not limited to:
- Develop and execute marketing plans to support our partnerships and alliances
- Collaborate with alliance companies to create joint marketing initiatives that drive lead generation activities that use co-marketing dollars, when applicable
- In collaboration with alliance companies, identify and manage key metrics to measure the success of our partnership marketing efforts
- Develop a deep understanding of our alliance companies' products, services, and go-to-market strategies
- Work cross-functionally with business development team, practice groups, and alliance company marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of joint marketing initiatives
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize ROI
- Work closely with Practice Group Leaders to ensure the alignment of business plans and marketing activities are achieved and on schedule
- Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure growth objectives are met at every stage for conferences, webinars, and other co-presented events
- Work with team members to align the placement of content delivery for different platforms such as social media, websites, and press releases with go-to-market priorities
- Determine effective use of co-branded marketing content, including case studies, whitepapers, and presentations, to support our partnership marketing efforts
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor activity, and proactively adjust marketing plans as necessary.
- Provide administrative and project support for firm-wide marketing programs as requested
- Maintain solid understanding of alliance company's strategy and how it drives success
- REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a role that emphasizes strategic growth, including (but not limited to): marketing, management consulting, Big 4 accounting firm marketing and/or software alliances marketing.
- Organized, self-directed and able to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders in a matrixed, fast-paced environment is a must.
- Ability to affect change and motivate a diverse group of partners. Must possess initiative, resourcefulness, be accurate and persistent. Must be able to establish a high level of credibility with his/her clients.
- Flexibility, willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.
- Impeccable attention to detail; strong written, verbal and communication skills.
- Maintains professionalism and a "can-do-attitude" in the execution of all project-related assignments and evokes creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas to life.
- Builds trust and sets other team members up for success.
- Experience working with technology providers.
