Mental Health Clinician / PAIP

Position requires no on-call, no marketing, no billing, and no insurance verification which allows you to focus on patient care and doing what you're trained to do. You will also be paid for no shows and empty appointment slots. Treatment modality involves providing individual therapy and PAIP program involvement. Those without PAIP training, and interest in obtaining that experience will be considered. Experience with couples is a plus but not required. Spanish speaking providers eligible for additional pay.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with emotional and behavioral issues
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help clients achieve their treatment goals
- Complete PAIP groups for men or women, intakes, continued stay reviews, and discharge sessions

- Conduct patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Stay current on best practices in the field of clinical therapy through ongoing professional development

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with initial licensure, additional pay for Clinical license
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and/or developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in conducting psychotherapy using various therapeutic modalities
- Knowledge of DSM/ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

60 hours required training to provide PAIP services preferred but not required if interested in considering obtaining that training
