What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard - 3rd Shift position at Bradford Soapworks?
Job Title: Security Guard Division: Safety Reports to: Security Supervisor
Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6p-6a with alternating Sundays
Job Function: This position is under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor, and is responsible for ensuring the overall protection and safeguarding of property, persons and other assets.
Description of Duties: Examples of duties include, but not limited to, monitoring security patrols, enforcing security procedures, monitoring activity on property to deter and prevent theft, sabotage, fire and accidents, and other security related situations.
Monitor the access control system as well as camera (CCTV) system for the campus.
Perform office work for EHS Department and other departments, as needed.
Provides additional coverage in the event that a shift is uncovered.
Ensures that reports are written as needed.
Conduct rounds of the campus when necessary.
Generate round reports and notify Security Supervisor of any discrepancies.
Work with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency services as needed.
Understand the relationship of the job to the work site mission and to other jobs within the work site. Communicate with co-workers, supervisors and staff from other departments to identify and correct problems. Identify and acts on opportunities to help and support work efforts of co-workers and staff from other departments. Work in a manner that promotes / creates a positive work environment.

Perform other related duties, as may be assigned by the EHS Director.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior security experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Power Point and Word
