Position: EEG Technician
Job Description:
Perform routineEEG's in office on a Cadwell system and at times, 72 hour video EEG's. you will also be cross trained to perform neurocognitive testing. The job is listed as part time but if I find a motivated person, it can be full time.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform initial testing of EEG equipment.
- Accurately record test results in the test log.
- Accurately record test results in the patient’s medical record.
- Accurately document any adverse reactions to the equipment in the form of phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication.
- Maintain and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day.
- Assist in the training of new hires and continuing education classes for existing staff members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or co-owner.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as applicable depending on specific equipment model or service required.
- A minimum of 1-year experience working in a clinical setting as an EEG Technician or similar role. This will be considered for training candidates who have this experience. Will also be willing to hire someone who just completed their training
