Maintenance Technician- 1st Shift!
7:00am- 3:30pm
Our headquarters located in Evansville, Indiana, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. Come join our growing team!
Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns
* Must be well versed in all aspects of maintenance.
* Able to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints.
* Understanding of ladder logic and advanced controls.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair precision machinery, both manual and CNC
* Ability to install and remove/rearrange equipment.
* General knowledge of safe lifting and rigging procedures
* Recognize problems and offer solutions as they relate to your job and work
* Know the status of jobs and work orders that have been assigned to you
* Communicate, recognize, follow-up, and complete assigned jobs in a timely manner
* Basic computer skills
* Perform more duties as assigned
* Perform PM’s and routine maintenance of all equipment.
* Perform welding tasks.
* Perform complex repairs
Job Requirement for Maintenance Technician: * Strong skills in electrical / mechanical repair and installation
* High school diploma or GED required
* MIG and Stick Welding skill/knowledge preferred
* Must be experienced in Fabrication
* Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment- preferred
* Excellent organization skills
* Must be strong at problem solving and troubleshooting
* Handle rush orders as the need arises and have flexibility to change routines
* Must be willing to work at both local locations as needed- Company vehicle provided to drive to other location and back.
* Demonstrate accuracy in working with detail
* Effectively share information in one-on-one and small group situations
* Apply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions
* Have ability to deal with problems in standardized situations
* Have ability to multitask
* Must have basic computer skills
* Begin and complete a project with moderate supervision
* Flexibility to change routines
* Other duties as assigned
* 5-10 years’ experience preferred
