We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for creating mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications for HVAC and plumbing building systems. This role involves supporting our team of experienced professionals in delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable mechanical engineering solutions to our diverse client base. This role will be intimately involved on building projects from design development phase through construction administration and close-out. Requirements:
- EIT, FE or 0-3 years of experience in Mechanical Building Systems (HVAC & Plumbing)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering preferred.
- Experience with Revit, BIM and CADD.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, while adhering to applicable codes and standards.
- Project Support: Provide support in various phases of projects, including conducting research, preparing technical reports, creating design drawings, and assisting with the preparation of specifications.
- Site Visits and Inspections: Participate in site visits and inspections to gather relevant data, assess existing systems, and assist in resolving technical challenges.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring that all design changes, calculations, and decisions are thoroughly recorded.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Support the quality assurance process by verifying design compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, civil engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders, to integrate mechanical systems effectively into building projects.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with simulation software like IESEV, TraneTrace, Cove Tool, or similar packages is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IBC.
- Willingness to work on a variety of projects across different industries and adapt to changing project demands.
