What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blending Lead position at Brand Nutra?
Position Summary: The Blending Lead will perform and oversee the activities of the Blending Area in a safe, clean, and orderly manner while maintaining a strong work ethic and quality assurance. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules and regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) must be followed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and participating in the daily activities of the Blending Area.
- Proper Verification of Raw Materials.
- Operating of Mixing Equipment.
- Completion of Blending Batch Record and other in-process paperwork.
- Ensure Blending Area logbooks are completed and updated correctly.
- Maintain the Blending area by keeping it clean, safe, and organized.
- Adhere to department SOPs.
- Requesting Equipment Work Orders as necessary.
- Train blending personnel as necessary.
- Provide feedback regarding the performance of blending personnel.
- Report injuries, near misses, comments, and concerns to management as required. This includes safety concerns and other hazards as they may arise in the workplace.
- General Manufacturing Area and Wash Room cleaning as required.
- Assist with other manufacturing duties as required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ability to read and write English, Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail is critical.
- Basic math, writing, reading, and logic.
- Commitment to company values.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
