WHO YOU ARE
As a BrandRep Web Designer, you will combine the technicality of SEO with the art of design, using some of the top website development tools as paintbrushes to create masterpieces. You are the Bob Ross of website development platforms like Shopify, Wix, WordPress, and other websites platforms. You excel working with teams and enjoy taking an active role to ensure the group fully understands all available options and capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
- Work with the copywriter, graphic designer, and client to develop SEO-rich e-commerce websites for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Experience managing and servicing Shopify, WordPress, Wix, and other 3rd party website platforms.
- Create the visual design of responsive brand websites and optimize them for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Implement industry-standard white-hat SEO and digital design best practices.
- Research and recommend trending digital design, layouts, and interface to enhance user experience.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years of extensive experience in developing eCommerce websites using templates.
- Strong portfolio showcasing skills incorporating brand design into websites.
- Ability to customize themes on Shopify, WordPress, and Wix eCommerce platforms.
- Comfortable working from concept through completion.
- Bold and clean web design aesthetic with a keen sense of design, typography, branding, and attention to detail.
- Ability to migrate websites from different web hosting platforms.
