Job description:

Provides general support for warehouse, shipping, and receiving performing any combination of tasks needed to complete orders, replenish stock, ship and/or receive parts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist shipping and receiving by verifying paperwork, quality and quantity

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes placing orders in delivery area

• Pull small, medium, and large orders from shelves

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards

• Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer

• Assist in counting of physical inventory: cycle counts, consolidating bins, marking stock items, etc.

• Kitting of orders and prepare orders for shipment, prepare shipping paperwork

• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

• Prepare parcels for mailing

• Maintain safe and clean work environment

• Maintain professionalism in the work place

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver's license

• Able to drive sit down forklift

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED

• Ability to lift boxes and specific materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Standing and walking, bending 75% daily

• Sitting / data entry 25% daily

• Detail oriented

• Dependable

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required

• Must be able to understand and comply with verbal instructions

• Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting
