Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to a team consisting of a course development manager, multimedia specialist and trainer to meet our Academy goals and grow our offering
- Be accountable for the success and development of the Brandwatch Academy and motivation of a diverse team across borders
- Ensure there is alignment across our courses and development of live events
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Coach the team on education, learning best-practices and processes
- Partner with our Community Manager, Marketing and branding teams to define a badging/certificate methodology and ensure alignment in driving adoption of our content to meet revenue and retention goals.
- Proactively contribute and advise on developing strategy/tactics for education at scale.
- Gather internal and external feedback directly and indirectly to improve usability and content.
- Set content development milestones and deliverables for the team based on quarterly OKRs
Required Skills:
- Passionate about how people learn and striving for a best in class learning environment
- Strong knowledge of adult learning techniques, content development methodologies and instructional design.
- Experience in developing and delivering on demand learning as well as live events such as webinars and onsite training.
- Can develop tactics and strategies to balance inclusive offerings with revenue driving opportunities in a Customer Success organisation
- Ability to manage, motivate and develop a team to leverage their unique skill sets and be successful
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent follow-up, time management and organization skills in a changing environment
- Adept at building relationships and collaborating effectively with all levels of management and a variety of stakeholders
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft suites
Experience:
- 3 years of demonstrated experience as an education/learning manager, leading a team, in the software industry (or similar)
