Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Work Arrangement
Hybrid - This position will be expected to come into the Detroit Renaissance Center and/or Warren Technical Center three times a week.
The Role
The Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) Team is looking for a Coordinator who shares vision and interest in providing an exemplary customer service experience to our North American based candidates. Applicants who have a customer service focus, a passion for providing superb candidate care and always looking for new ways to improve or automate processes will be key to your success. Partnering with our Recruiters to deliver a candidate centric hiring experience requires expert judgment and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule complex interviews with excellent candidate care
- Manage scheduling conflicts and calendar changes from candidate and interview teams
- Educate Recruiters and other stakeholders on how to best use interview scheduling tools
- Provide outstanding candidate care. Ensure timely and accurate feedback to all inquiries for our Candidates, Recruiters, Hiring Managers and HR Partners
- Monitoring background checks and drug screens during the pre-employment stage, providing status updates and escalations where needed to ensure timely start dates
- Manage and maintain candidate trackers in alignment with the Applicant Tracking System and candidate pre-employment results
- Communicate to recruiting team any challenges throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and pre-employment process
(Required Qualifications)
- Minimum 3 years supporting recruiting activities (including interview scheduling and monitoring background checks with adjudication)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Attention to detail with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Agility to quickly learn new processes and recruiting technologies
- Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
- Strong administrative skills
(Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working in Workday as an Applicant Tracking System
- Experience supporting Canadian recruiting, especially pre-employment screening process
- Bachelor’s degree
Top skills:
Ability to learn quickly, especially new technologies (Workday, HireRight, Paradox)
Comfortable manipulating Excel spreadsheets (as this is the format of our candidate trackers)
Team player who can handle high volume of candidates
Personality:
Communicative with stakeholders (Recruiters, Team Leads, HR, Candidates)
Energetic and can work in a fast-paced environment
Is able to work both remotely and in-person
Can-do attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
