POSITION SUMMARY:
The Felp Assembly and Testing Operator will utilize their skill set to perform production tasks to assemble specific products using Quality as the most important performance aspect. The operator must demonstrate proficiency in all assembly and machine operations, perform changeovers and clear station jams, be proficient in test machines to prepare operators and train new operators, efficiently produce KT and R15 stems, as well as recognize components by sight and part number.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities
E
- Demonstration proficiency in all operations, including component identification and effectively read Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Follow verbal instruction and utilize the paging system to call for required assistance.
- Understand the safety requirements for each station and notify management when missing or inoperable.
D
- Start, reset, shutdown assembly and test machines.
- Perform minor changeovers for each machine determined by the item to produce.
- Understand how to clear a jam within each station.
- Complete appropriate documentation (scrap tickets, process documents, and schedule completion forms) correctly.

- Demonstrate proficiency with both assembly and test machines, to prepare operator to give future trainings to “New” operators.
- Identify the functionality of each station and determine correct functionality.
- Achieve and maintain required production levels and quality requirements.
B
- Assist in maintaining and producing both types of stems (KT and R15) as required by entire Assembly department.
- Perform complete changeover from angle valve to straight valve and vice versa on both machines.
A
- Achieve and maintain an average goal of 95%or better consistently for six months while performing the above duties.
- Assist maintenance to determine root cause for downtime related issues.
Perform any necessary reworking required to continue
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to lift 20 – 40 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to easily grasp products and other materials
