Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for our Accounts Payable position in Chehalis, WA.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 6:00am and 7:30am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $20 – $26/hr DOE/DOQ, with a potential for a discretionary bonus.

Braun Northwest, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom emergency vehicles for EMS and law enforcement.
Braun Northwest is looking for the right candidate to fill our open Accounts Payable position. The position ensures that accounts payable data is collected and processed in a confidential and timely manner. It also oversees the posting of all ledger entries and to assure the prompt and accurate processing of disbursements to vendors of Braun Northwest, Inc.
This position supports the Finance Services Department functions and includes the following typical responsibilities:
- Print electronic invoices and statements daily.
- Collect invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders from the Materials Department.
- Review and verify invoices – match to purchase orders and packing slips or other proper authorization as directed.
- Code invoice to proper account and write on the invoice with other information as directed.
- Processes reimbursement payments for employee expenses incurred.
- Enter invoices into Sage Accounting System.
- Prepare and perform check runs weekly.
- Maintain vendor files – W-9’s, 1099’s, address changes etc.
- Maintain tracking for returned materials.
- File invoices.
- Assist with other projects as needed.

Position Requirements:
This position requires the use of Microsoft software programs such as:
- Word – ability to format and merge documents.
- Excel – ability to create and use spreadsheets.
- Outlook – ability to use email and task portion of program.
Required Education:
AA degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college.
OR
Two years’ experience working in accounting/finance may be substituted for AA degree.
Required Experience:
- Two years of accounts payable experience.
- Experience working with Sage/Peachtree is highly desirable.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment (Preferred).
Knowledge Requirements:
- General understanding of accounting practices and principles.
- Process improvement.
