In the Strategy and Consumer Analytics Specialist role, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about story-telling with data and directly influencing C-level executive leadership. This person will utilize strong SQL coding skills, BI tools, and internal and external trends to influence strategy across the organization. The Specialist, Strategy Analytics supports senior and executive leaders and business strategy/development function by providing actionable insights around broader portfolio themes to help shape strategic decisions, with the goal of providing guidance to our key internal partners through a thorough understanding of transactional trends, profitability levers, macro-economic influencers, brand specific challenges, and business capability impacts and the impact they have on the customer. Ultimately, enabling effective positioning of our credit loyalty products and enduring loyalty from the end customer.

Essential Job Functions
Senior Leadership Analytics support - Provide senior leaders with broad insights around key business questions and coordinate with relevant partners to ensure complete and holistic perspectives. The key areas supported include earnings call, investor relations, proof points around new product launches, etc.
Business Strategy & Development Support - support Business Strategy Leader with strategic analytical needs such as market and vertical assessments, broad customer profiles and behaviors, and capability assessments
Analytical Insights Brief - Proactively provides assessments of performance inclusive of verticals, markets, capabilities, and customer segments to bring recommendations and areas of focus to business strategy, client partnerships, and other key stakeholders.
Consult with data driven insights - Is a trusted analytical resource to senior leaders. Is able to understand business need, formulate analytical problem, use various information sources (in-house data, industry data like Argus, Moody's and qualitative data) to build comprehensive story and effectively communicate to various levels in the organization.
Anticipates emerging needs, unarticulated questions, works well under tight timelines, connects the dots across different parts of the organization and synthesizes information into a cohesive story.
Reports to: Manager or above
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment, some travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business or similar
Five or more years of analyzing broader themes spanning over various segments, driving marketing and business decisions through data extracts, queries and actionable insights. Experience with Data Mining Tools (SQL, SAS), Customer Behavioral Research, Business Analysis
Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business or similar
Five or more years of analyzing broader themes spanning over various segments, driving marketing and business decisions through data extracts, queries and actionable insights. Experience with Data Mining Tools (SQL, SAS), Customer Behavioral Research, Business Analysis

Salary Range:
$81,800.00 - $195,000.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate's first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
